Nerds! Nerds! Nerds!

This band is 8-bit and beyond, chiptune punk, or whatever you want to categorize band + ’80’s nintendo soundtracks.  Having grown in the era of the super nintendo, listening to Anamaguchi is nostalgic to my ill lit parent’s loft, button smashing, and controller throwing.  May my Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball rest in pieces.  For what I have learned, Anamaguchi are 4 NYU musicians reliving their childhood fantasy of playing over the fabled sound bites of NES.  Further, it looks as though they use an actual NES combined with an 8-bit processor, and consider it a valued member of the group.  Take a gander at these videos and check out the Mp3 below.
